FLIR E8 Infrared Camera with MSX
Gain a competitive advantage with the FLIR E8–our affordable, high-resolution thermal imaging camera for electrical, mechanical, and building inspection. Find hidden electrical faults, mechanical issues, and sources of energy loss thanks to the E8's crisp 76,800 (320 × 240) pixel infrared resolution and FLIR Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX®) image enhancements. The E8 is fully automatic, focus-free, and built to last, so you can use it with confidence in even the most rugged environments.
Building Science Thermologist Certification
Our Building Science Thermologist course engages our students in the Theory of Infrared while showing its applied uses in many prevalent trades, including Engineering, Construction, Roofing, Plumbing, Architecture, Home Inspections, and many more. This 3 day course begins by teaching the Science of Infrared and uses hands-on learning to engage students while touching on topics such as Block Wall Inspection, Energy Loss Applications, and Moisture Intrusion. We have found our students excel when we place a FLIR camera in their hands and send them on our “Seek-and-Finds” and remote field trip locations. This course is recommended as a prerequisite to an ITC Level 1 Class, or to go more in depth of the trades rather than the sciences taught in Level 1. Camera training is an included lesson in this course.
Residential Thermologist Certification Course KREIA
This course is exclusive to KREIA members and/or Home Inspectors, and details water intrusion, residential electrical review, and the Science of Infrared. Camera operation and Report Building/Finalizing are hit hard in this course. Course is taught by a current member of KREIA who has been using thermal imaging to inspect over 5,000 homes, in a non invasive manor, since becoming a home inspector.
